News and notes on the Internet:

  • Brex applies for a bank franchise and gets the former CEO of a Silicon Valley bank BrexOne Mile for has an exclusive bonus offer for Brex Cash. Brex offers business cheques and credit cards for start-ups that do not require a personal guarantee. And there’s a bonus offer of 110,000 points redeemable for frequent flyer miles on airlines.

The special bonus offer consists of 80,000 points for approving a Brex Cash account and spending $1,000 on a Brex card; 10,000 points after spending $3,000 on a Brex card in the first 3 months; 20,000 points for linking a payroll deduction to a Brex Cash account.

  • United Airlines is investigating the source of the leak on Ted Cruz’s flight to Cancun. They should be able to access the records to find out who accessed the NRP, but if many employees are involved, it will be difficult to isolate the leak. Flight attendants union boss Sarah Nelson defends the leak and authorizes the sharing of confidential PNR data.

Perspective: Whoever is responsible for the leak has over 10k. @itedcruz colleagues and families to freezing TX while their US Senator leaves town and then tries to lie about it. @tedcruz is not a customer, he is a public servant who has lied too many times. We all agree. https://t.co/NDs6935xim
