What you need to know about technoclubs
Amsterdam is a very special place for the club and party atmosphere, and these changes depend on the country. There are many different features that are constantly changing from place to place:
Dress code: If you’re like me, that’s a big problem. But since this is the Netherlands, it should be noted that there is no real dress code. Unless specifically asked for at the event, you can literally wear whatever you want and no one will care, or at all.
Transportation: You’ll usually leave the club at 4 or 5 in the morning, which means the best way to get home or back to your hotel is via Uber. You can read more about fares and information in my last article (Uber or Taxi?). Public transportation begins at 6 a.m. in the neighborhoods. If you have a bike, that’s fine!!! However, if you want to take a night bus, their schedule is very limited. For more information on public transport timetables and locations, visit 9292.nl.
The prices: In most cases, you will find that buying tickets online is the best option because you save a few bucks. This is also important if you really want to attend this event, as it can sell out depending on the size of the club.
